Purpose: To safeguard the personal information of Nigerians and ensure organizations handle data responsibly.

Scope: Applies to anyone (individual or organization) that collects, stores, processes, or shares personal data of Nigerian citizens or residents.

GDPR in Europe protect people’s data.
